I bought Stella some shoes that squeak when she walks and she just loves them. I have seen much more activity since she started wearing them. Hopefully they will help encourage her to walk independently.

Stella was born in July 2008 with bilateral anophthalmia, meaning that her eyes did not develop. This blog will follow her journey as a blind child.

Ivey loves her squeaky shoes too. I hope she loves bouncing in them so much that she decides to stand on her own....then eventually take off running!
On a side note, I have seen parents get tired of the squeak once their kids are walking all over the place. You can pull the squeaker out - not that I would ever do that - that squeak is music to my ears.
What a great video. I loved seeing Stella walk and jump and laugh. What a dear Sebastian is; a great Big brother. Both of your children are SO beautiful.
